After Tiananmen Square (see previous post), we entered Forbidden City. Marlon marveled at the scale of the site and the Chinese Architecture. The weather was the most perfect for sightseeing. It is one of those wonderful and rare fall weather. He took so many great pictures with the beautiful blue sky as the back drop. We spent a good 3 hours in the palace, and have hardly seen 1/4 of the place. I spent the entire day in Forbidden City last time I came.
Marlon also got some souvenirs. And that story is going to be a blog on its own. We had a little adventure with the souvenir shopping.
After the Forbidden City, we went up to the peak of JingShan Park. It is where you can see the vista of the City's famous axis.
