First day working...

We walked the site today... which took up most of the day. Observation #1 - this is like 3 projects in 1. Observation #2 - there are some really amazing historical architecture and structure in this project. Observation #3 - it is insane to think that they can get this project done by next April.  The scope of the project should have a 6 year Design and Construction schedule. Not the 18 months they planned.  Just to fix and reinforce the old WOOD structure in the 1863 building would take up 1 year.
i'm exhausted. Jetlag got me up at 4am 2 nights in a row. Damn!
